The teaching in our school works on two levels overlapping in each other : outside and inside. The external part develops and improve the confucean frame and the related values: technical rigour, respect, patience, perseverance, courage, uprightness. The interior part feeds the essence : symbols, key of acces to the metaphysical field, beyond any form. The taoism fills this level... We are on the field of the universal and the informal, common to all the great traditions.

In clear, while technical working corresponds to the work of axis, of alignments, the associated exoteric value is uprightness; the associated esoteric value feeds with the connection earth-sky allowing the spirit to take body and the body to spiritualize itself.

Although the techniques, the tools, the forms, the ways, must be overrun, they can bring us to the point of going beyond only if they are in conformity, coherent and transmitted by someone who's able to do it.

No teaching in our school is limited to a technical program. The technique is the support, the reflection, exteriorization of a way of being, of thinking, of acting and of behaving. To separate Taijiquan of its Chinese cultural roots is to confine it to a mere gymnastics. To cultivate the practice without comprehension of the principles nor discovering of the fundamental core to better integrate it in our Western daylife, is to lower it at the rank of a "New Age" practice .

Many "advanced techniques" are matters of publications. They are therefore not "secret". The true secrecy is what is lived in the deepest of oneself. Inexpressible, it can be transmitted only from heart to heart. This transmission does not depend merely on the aptitudes of the body, but of qualities of heart and siprit of the student. The Master (the elder in the discipline) cannot be influenced or encouraged by his preferences, his mood or by a significant remuneration. He can only transmit what he himself has received and integrated. The core of a traditional discipline is located in the rediscovery of what is immutable, to fully live the present time (gift).
